Say - AI Agents That Tell Human Stories

Most of the human story is still unwritten, locked inside people no one has asked. We're building Say, a storytelling agent that autonomously tells real human stories like an award-winning documentarian.

Today's frontier models are capable researchers, interviewers, writers, editors, animators, and marketers. We're unifying these abilities into agents that extend the range of human storytelling by many orders of magnitude. "What We Don't Say" - Say's debut short created from AI interviews with a discursive psychologist and her son - shows how dropping a single word from our vocabularies can shift our reality. Every element was produced by our agent.

ETHEREA - Living AI Art

ETHEREA is a real-time AI art system that transforms speech and music into immersive visual experiences. It's been described as "giving Claude a paintbrush" - creating a new form of human-AI collaboration where spoken narratives become living, breathing artworks.

After a two-month creative residency in NYC's Meatpacking District where I hosted an "AI variety show" for over 200 attendees, I was invited to showcase ETHEREA at Anthropic headquarters. Through extensive user research with over 2,000 participants, I've refined the experience to create average session times exceeding 30 minutes.

Previous Work

Autobiographer (2021-2024)

We built an AI-powered biographer that developed a sophisticated memory and context engine, allowing Claude to craft personalized life stories through natural conversation.

Our users recorded an average of 5,000+ words about their lives, often for the first time. Through continuous iteration and a custom evaluation system, we improved user-reported quality ratings from 3.9 to 4.7 stars. The app was featured in TechCrunch, CNET, and culminated in a live storytelling event where Autobiographer interviewed a NYT bestselling author on stage.

Facebook (2013-2019)

Election Integrity (2018-2019): Led product efforts to protect democratic processes, building the Integrity Product Operations Center ("War Room") that was credited as "the number one reason our team got through [2018 midterms] unscathed." Eliminated viral misinformation vectors and led takedown of 800+ political spam pages.

Ads Measurement (2017-2018): Developed systems to measure online ads' impact on offline purchases, launching "Store Sales Optimization" for major retailers including Nordstrom and Macy's.

Political Ads (2013-2017): Created Facebook's political ad targeting tools, generating hundreds of millions in revenue. Was the first to identify data misuse patterns that became the Cambridge Analytica scandal, testifying in four related depositions.

ACRONYM (2019-2020)

Co-founded and led product for a progressive digital strategy firm focused on transforming political advertising through rigorous experimentation.

Led over 100 digital field experiments with PhD researchers from Stanford, MIT, and Meta to measure the persuasive impact of political media. Our work, published in Nature Human Behaviour, established new standards for measuring ad effectiveness on voter turnout.

Mint for Ukraine (2022)

In collaboration with Midjourney, created 1,000,000 AI-generated artworks celebrating Ukrainian culture. The project raised awareness and funds for humanitarian efforts during the war.

The artworks were projected in a massive public installation at Washington Square Park in New York City, creating a powerful statement of solidarity and showcasing the potential of AI art for social good.
